ELAINE P. DOUGLAS, CPA

Ms. Douglas is a named partner in Hacker, Douglas & Company, LLP and has been with the firm since 1983. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz and completed accounting studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of The American Society of Certified Public Accountants, The California Society of Certified Public Accountants, The American Film Institute and Women in Film. Her extensive experience includes performing expert witness services in over 40 entertainment industry cases, speaking at various industry seminars on dealmaking and profit participation for investors in the motion picture and television industry and guest lecturer at University of California, Los Angeles Extension.

BARBARA A. BEEBE, CPA

Has a Bachelor’s Degree from Smith College, Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her accounting studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. Ms. Beebe joined the firm in 1985 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants; served as coordinator of seminars on participation accounting at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension.

JAMES R. PERRY, CPA

Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. Mr. Perry joined the firm as a partner in 1986. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Perry was an audit manager at Arthur Young & Company, specializing in the entertainment industry. He has testified as an expert witness in numerous cases involving profit participation disputes. Mr. Perry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

WENDY W. MILLS, CPA

Has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Boston University and a Master's Degree from California State University, Fullerton. Ms. Mills is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of California and New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has over 30 years of experience in auditing and accounting in the entertainment industry. Ms. Mills joined the firm in 2002. Her previous positions include Vice President of Finance in the Columbia TriStar Television division of Sony Pictures Entertainment, Controller of Spelling Television, and Director of Internal Audit for The Spelling Entertainment Group.

ALAN J. PERRY CPA/CFF

Has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. Mr. Perry was hired as a full-time audit manager in 2011 after having provided part-time services through an affiliated CPA firm over a period of 11 years. Mr. Perry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

PAULA VAZQUEZ CPA/CIA - Senior Audit Manager

Ms. Vazquez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. She has over 25 years of diversified public accounting and entertainment industry experience. Ms. Vazquez’s previous positions include Vice President of Accounting and Financial Reporting at Sony Pictures Television and Experienced Manager – Business Process Risk Consulting at Arthur Andersen, LLP. Ms. Vazquez became a Partner in 2022.

In Memory of PHILIP J. HACKER, CPA

Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Queens College, New York and a Master’s Degree in Business from Columbia University, New York. Prior to the formation of the accounting firm, Mr. Hacker held senior positions with Price Waterhouse & Co. and Walt Disney Productions. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the California Society of Certified Public Accountants; lecturer at seminars sponsored by various professional organizations and academic institutions and instructor of accounting at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension.
